CE Certification is a kind of authoritative certification recognized internationally. Its process of passing is very strict. Not only the products produced by the enterprises in the European, but also the products of the other countries must have the mark of “CE”, if the products are circulated freely in the European market. The mark means that the products conform to the basic requirements set by the EU in the New Methods of Technical coordination and Standardization. This is the compulsory requirement put forward by the EU law to the products. In short, if a kind of products doesn’t pass the CE certification, it can not enter the EU market.
According to the report, during the past years, in the Istanbul custom in Turkey, a great deal of containers have been returned to China, those products which were not cleared and returned to China have been confiscated by the customs of Turkey. The reason is that some mainland products did not pass the certification. So CE certification is very important in the international trade.
